6 paintings by Hilma af Klint have been presented in the form of a new series of carpets, issued by the Asplund Collection in Stockholm. The carpets are handknitted and handtufted, made in silk and wool.
The newly made carpets will be shown at an inaugurational exhibition at the CF Hill art gallery in Stockholm this autumn.
The collection of carpets is based on 3 of Hilma af Klint’s largest paintings, and 3 of Hilma af Klint’s smaller paintings.  The carpets have been made in the same dimensions as the original works. The 3 largest will be issued in 10 specimen, and the smaller ones in 30 of each.
